The Imagineers was launched in March 2010 in Adelaide by face and body artists
Wendy Fantasia and
Toni Anne Smallman.
The name The Imagineers captures the adventurous and whimsical nature of many
body painting designs; anything is possible!
Toni Anne from Mad Hatterz Parties has spent many years in Adelaide creating amazing faces for a busy and varied clientele, while also running a thriving party/entertainment business. In the past four years she has evolved her art form to using the human body as a living canvas. High profile
live art body painting has been created for the 2009 Hans Heysen Exhibition and SALA Festival, and painting body models with the Tour Down Under winning riders jerseys for Stage 2 (Gawler 2010). Private commissions and corporate bookings plus producing two complete painted bodies in record time for 'Painting outside the Square' in January 2012 has kept Toni busy of late. More fun stuff is planned for the future! This woman can organise anything.
Wendy has been face painting for the past 18 years starting in Melbourne, Victoria, moving to Adelaide in 2008. Four active years in Radelaide were filled with body painting too - check here for full CV. Another relocation in January 2012 sees Wendy back in Melbourne, Victoria meaning that The Imagineers now spans two states (we can go anywhere!).
